Hi, there.

Today is the last day of January, I can’t believe that a month is already over. As I get older, I feel time goes by so quickly. It is truly amazing how plants bloom and color their leaves at the same time every year. Following the plants, we will be getting ready for creating a new garden for spring.

Finish a Small Space

The other day, I worked outside all day after a long time, and the following day, my whole body ached so that I couldn’t do anything. On that day, I did a stone wall work requested from one of our customers who always shop our online store.

Before making the stone wall, the space was like the picture above. The customer told me that soil was washed away after a rain, so it was in no condition for planting. The house is surrounded by a large stone retaining wall, which is overwhelming, so we decided to create a small but one impressive enough compared with the retaining wall.

Since this space has a corner, we carefully selected square stones. To make more corners, we broke some stones, and then created the beautiful corner and top edge. We placed large ones at the corners to create a small but impressive stone wall.

Placing stones and their appearance is very important. Only using stones of similar size is not fun. Placing mixed of various sizes, large and small, can give spice to the appearance and express the power of nature.

Does this stone wall look as if it has been here for a long time, doesn’t it? We will remove formwork in the back next time and plant madam’s precious camellias here. This new space, serving as both a retaining wall and a planting area, will allow madam to grow her garden more. I hope she will enjoy creating a small garden full of greenery here.

If you add a touch of the stone wall to a garden, you could expand the range of ways to enjoy your garden.

We believe that any space or garden is precious to you regardless of size. So, if you have any concerns or questions about your garden, please feel free to contact us anytime.
