Hi there.
It’s been gloomy and rainy these days. We can work only in the sunny intervals, but this time of year is a blessing for plants before the hot summer arrives. During the season, plants tend not to get enough air due to high humidity, so they must prepare for summer by getting rainwater. We should also keep ourselves hydrated all the time to prevent getting dehydrated.
Clematis Blending into the Garden
We have planted clematis in the garden that we regularly do maintenance on. The owner has taken good care of the garden. It’s been three years since the garden was created. The mosses have grown, and the Oribe lantern has deeply harmonized with the garden.
Thanks to the regular maintenance, the plants are not growing too big but too small. They fit into the garden.
Green spaces always make me comfortable. They have taken good care of the moss, so the garden is filled with green air. It's difficult to manage the wildflowers because they are delicate and bloom or do not bloom depending on the year, and the condition of each plant differs. That’s one of the interesting and challenging parts of growing a garden. I hope to create a garden full of greenery for many years by taking care of each plant.
We planted the client’s favorite clematis in the garden while checking the condition. There are so many varieties of clematis that the client took a lot of time to choose the right one. The client must have learned about clematis since they were much more knowledgeable than I am. Their passion for plants is just amazing.
The clematis they chose were all pretty, some in deep Bordeaux color and others in light purple. Clematis has the image of large plants like Asian virginsbower, but it has bell-shaped flowers like the ones in the photo. They can be combined according to the atmosphere of the garden. I think that they will blend well in both Japanese and Western gardens. The clematis has brightened the lonely green areas up. The small, modest blooms are pretty.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the clematis will grow in this garden. We will continue to maintain the garden to keep the space beautiful.
