Hi there.
Hosta flowers are drooping. Perhaps, it’s because the flowers are heavy. They look a little sad, but the droopy flowers are beautiful with their beautiful curves. Mosses are making a lush carpet in our garden. It’ll be the season where we can see a few flowers. So, I want to care for the flowers while keeping the moss healthy and green.
Starting a New Garden, Once Again
We had constructed a garden for a restaurant a few years ago. The client made a decision to “rebuild a garden” while thinking about the future of the restaurant and asked us to create a garden again.
Since the previous garden was also loved by the customers, it’s sad to say goodbye. But we are now returning it to the vacant lot and making a new garden.
We used flagstones and resin-bound stone for the garden path last time, and it looked neat and clean. This time we will use rust-colored cubic stones to draw multiple layers of circles, like ripples spreading out from the shop sign on the wall. Unlike the impression of the previous garden, it has a kind of classic feel.
When it was sunny, the owner would set up chairs and tables in the garden, and customers would enjoy drinking and eating outside. And this time, they want to make such space under a big tree. So, we are planning to plant a large tree during this renovation. I’ll update it too.
When arranging cubic stones into a circular shape, there will inevitably be places where the joints do not match. So, we break them one by one and adjust the size by placing a small cubic stone. It’s a tough task to break the stones into the desired shape, so we also carefully check the size one by one as we break them. Since half of the garden will be covered by the cubic stone pavement, we work hard to make it look good. We want to finish the work with a beautiful design so that people passing by the shop will be interested in it.
The restaurant will be reopening soon! ★
